SW - Forged FAQ

How flexible are we with out Bespoke offerings?
SpeedWorks Forged wheels are bespoke and so are made to order per customer. You choose any design and size you like, and we make them according to your specifications.
How long is the wait time?
Lead times are approximately 3 months from when you pay - this includes rendering, production, painting & quality control. If you aren't able to pick-up in Sydney, allow another 5-7 business days for postage to you.
How are these wheels made?
All SpeedWorks Forged wheels are machined entirely from a single 6061-T6 aluminium block. leading to a wheel that is extremely stiff, exceptionally strong and extraordinarily lightweight.
Are they safe?
We take pride in producing high-quality custom wheels that meet industry standards. Our wheels are not only compliant with JWL, VIA, TUV, TS16949, and ISO9001 standards, but they are also rigorously tested to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The reason for our wheels being compliant instead of being certified is due to the unique nature of custom wheels. Every custom wheel we produce is different from one another, with varying specifications and designs. This makes it difficult to obtain certification for each individual wheel, as certification authorities typically certify specific designs and sizes.
However, by being compliant with JWL, VIA, TUV, TS16949, and ISO9001 standards, we can ensure that our wheels meet the same high standards of quality and safety as certified wheels. This gives our customers peace of mind knowing that they are getting a product that is not only visually appealing but also safe and reliable.
How long is the wait time?
Lead times are approximately 13-16 weeks from the initial payment is received - this includes rendering, production, painting & quality control. If you aren't able to pick-up in Sydney, allow another 5-7 business days for postage to you.
